5 kVA Inverter Petrol Generator Package 19Amps (Parallel Pack)

"Great generator but a long review (Sorry). Whilst travelling, I spent 3 months researching generators to replace my less than marvelous 3300kw/3000kw inverter. (Made free camping more difficult and less comfortable). I annoyed the hell out of other travellers from Vic to WA and sales/tech staff of the major sellers during our 9500 kms 'there and back again' trip. I compared so many gennys against each other and checked forums to see what they were saying. My wife is currently sick of generators. I finally settled on an Able IN25G 25kva prime (23kva running). I bought direct from Able and it arrived to outer regional Vic in 2 working days. I added oil and fuel, ran it up for 15 minutes and connected it to my 6.5m Winnebago. This genny ran the A/C (Heron Q: 6.5 amps running and 20 amps starting). No whumps, bangs rattles or sharks. This A/C has not been run for about 12 months as my previous genny couldn't handle it. I left the A/C running and turned on a 1250w shop vac (Still trying to get WA's red mud out of the carpet). I turned on a couple of lights and suddenly realised that the built in battery charger was merrily topping up the batteries (24volt power through the M/H. After running all this, I shut down the M/H and turned off the genny. It had run smoothly and (I believe) about as quiet as a Honda. The only test left is longevity and that will obviously take time. I'm really impressed with this genny. It has more features than described on Able's website and if I had to find a fault it would be that they have undersold its qualities. For example, electronic fuel guage and metering, forced air cooling, circuit breakers and reset, larger motor than nearly all of the competition. they barely mentioned these. It was well boxed and came with tools, oil filler 15a/10a plugs (spares). The construction looks and feels good quality. It is a little heavier than some but I think that indicates better quality. However, I'm a very old late sixties and could pick it up. My much younger wife could also pick it up and move it short distances. Poor Able staff (and other sellers) must be so sick of me ringing to ask more and more questins (during my research) but they persevered and whilst not knowing all the answers they usually found out for me. This Able genny is going to make our free camping so much better. S.W.M.B.O. is more ecstactic about not hearing any more generator talk. (She's in for a surprise). I thoroughly recommend this Able IN25G. By the way, I have no affiliation with ABLE (and they probably wouldn't want me after bending their ears)."

"I bought these generators to run my caravan, patio and shed while our power was disconnected to the house for over 6 weeks. I alternated between both for 6 hours a day each and synced them up to run a 2kw airconditioner and 2400W washing machine at the same when needed. We also cooked with a lot with a pressure cooker and electric frying pan. We are very happy with our purchase they are nice and quiet and would highly recommend!

"Bought this today and followed the first start instructions. Fired up exactly as described. We are currently running a fridge and freezer a couple of lights and the internet router. Humming along nicely. Able Sales were good to deal with and I would not hesitate to buy from them again."
